Graduating with her medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine, Dr. Ramdhaney completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Maimonides Medical Center. She followed this up with a fellowship in gastroenterology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn.
Subsequent to her education, she attained board certification in gastroenterology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. Recently she became board certified in Obesity Medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
In addition to being a Fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGAF) and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), Dr. Ramdhaney is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American College of Physicians, ASGE Women in Endoscopy, and the Obesity Medical Association.
