Sitcom Star Admits She Was Abducted by Aliens!

January 15, 2019 /MarketersMedia/ —
On episode 5 of Los Angeles comedian David Race’s Monstrosity podcast, 1980’s sitcom star, blonde bombshell, Lydia Cornell (of ABC’s “Too Close For Comfort”) had an unexpected revelation. During conversation with Race and his other in studio guest, comedian Brody Stevens, Cornell revealed that she was abducted by aliens.
Reached for comment, show creator and host David Race told us: “We book celebrities on the show, with no expectation that they’ve had any paranormal experiences. But a few times we’ve had celebrities surprise us with their own stories about aliens, ghosts, and Bigfoot. Lydia is the best example so far.”
“Monstrosity with David Race” debuted in mid-2018, and after a handful of episodes, the podcast has been high in ranking surveys of podcasts in the comedy category. Recently the podcast began generating television industry interest. The mix of celebrities and paranormal experts, with comedy, and scary stories, is unique in the genre.
Race tells us: “It’s a fun show. Guests always tell us they’d like to come back on. Sometimes we try to create a theme around why we’re having a particular celebrity on. Lydia Cornell for example, was the first in what I’m hoping is a sequence, of my teenage crushes on the show.”
Not only does Monstrosity have TV potential, but Race also would like to see it branch out into doing live concerts. He explained: “I have some good live shows for Monstrosity already written up. There’s a lot we can do with this.”
