New York City, Mar 2, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Dr. Sementi, a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, practices at Valley OBGYN with offices in Spokane Valley and Liberty Lake, Washington. She performs a variety of gynecologic surgeries, including minimally invasive surgeries, as well as comprehensive care for pregnant women.

Since 1984, Valley OBGYN has offered outstanding services to the women of Spokane Valley, Spokane, Coeur d'Alene, and its surrounding communities. The staff offer a variety of services and advanced procedures using state-of-the-art technology. They strive to provide quality comprehensive patient-centered women's care with a belief that each staff member has the ability to improve the health of patients and a responsibility to help patients get the best care regardless of circumstances.

Raised locally in Coeur d' Alene, Dr. Sementi graduated from Wellesley College, where she was the team captain for the Wellesley volleyball team all four years of college. She then went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 2005. Upon graduation, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Washington in Seattle.

"I entered this field of medicine because I want to have a positive impact on women's health. I strongly believe in giving every patient 1OO percent of my attention during every visit. My sincere hope is to make sure every pregnant woman receives the best care available to enhance the life and health of her unborn child. I believe every patient deserves my undivided attention and the highest-quality care available." as stated by the doctor. Alongside her clinical role, she serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Washington Medical School in Seattle.

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Sementi is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, which is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada. In order to stay up to date in her field, she remains a member of the American Medical Association and the Spokane County Medical Society.

Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system - vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts). An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health.

When not caring for her patients, Dr. Sementi enjoys spending time with her husband and two beautiful daughters. She also enjoys swimming, participating in her children's school activities, and doing triathlons throughout the year. Her favorite is the Coeur d'Alene half IronMan, which she competes in every year.
