NYC Big Book Award Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Announcement of 2026 Winners

NEW YORK - Sept. 21, 2026 - PRLog -- The NYC Big Book Award officially announces its 2026 award-winning list today. Commemorating its 10th anniversary, the program recognized 163 subcategory winners across 15 major categories, matching readers worldwide with high-impact titles.

"The NYC Big Book Award recognizes that consumer trends and tastes change constantly, and we are dedicated to highlighting books with the highest potential impact," said awards sponsor Gabby Olczak. The NYC Big Book Award regularly attracts a diverse group of creators—ranging from independent writers to the Big Five publishing houses.

This year's competition drew international entries from established authors, first-time indie writers, and large publishing houses. Entrants included entrepreneurs, film and television writers, historians, and journalists.

Submissions spanned the globe, with participating authors hailing from Australia, Canada, China, France, Ghana, Greece, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Key cities represented included Auckland, Dallas, Frankfurt, Hollywood, Johannesburg, New York City, Philadelphia, Sydney, and West Palm Beach.

Participating publishers included Beacon Press, Berrett-Koehler, Casemate, Edinburgh University Press, ForbesBooks, Kiplinger Books, NYU Press, Palgrave Macmillan, Penguin Random House, Rizzoli, Routledge, University of California Press, and Wiley.
