The majority of her graduate and postgraduate research has been presented at national meetings and has been published in peer-reviewed journals.
In graduate school, Dr. Rizk received the Dean's Research Excellence Award for her research in the metabolic perturbations and the subsequent response to focal ischemic-reperfusion injury. She hopes to expand her research now and examine the relationship of metabolomics and breast cancer.
