Nagomi has just launched on Kickstarter. They have brought on Funded Today to help bring their product to a wider audience and increase pledges for the duration of the campaign.
About Nagomi
Nagomi introduces beautifully crafted bread, cake, and cheese knives made with Japanese steel. These are made with a higher-grade, 440C molybdenum steel; blades are stronger, harder, and corrosion-resistant compared to the original line-up.
The handles are made from black evergreen wood from Spain, which is more durable, resistant to washing, and water immersion. The handle is extremely comfortable and smooth to the tough, giving it a sleek and refined look.
The bread knife has a blade thickness of 0.2 cm and weighs 170 g. The cake knife has a blade thickness of 0.15 cm and weighs 75 g. And the cheese knife has a blade thickness of 0.2 cm and weighs 90 g.
Nagomi also offers leaf shaped cutting board with a thickness of 1.5 cm and a weight of 420 g. It also offers a puzzle piece cutting board with a thickness of 1.5 cm as well but weighs 550 g.
Each knife comes in a stylish black box for free and all knives in the personalized sets can be engraved.
Pricing and Availability
Nagomi is available to back now on Kickstarter. They are hopeful to see an increase in pledges with the help of Funded Today and their team. Once the campaign ends, the products are set to produce and ship to all backers by December 2019. The starting price for one leaf-shaped cutting board is $68 USD and one cake knife is $140 USD.
