The Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy has launched a new set of hybrid training programs that combine in-person training and online learning to help students get certified while working at their own pace, from their own homes.

The Dermysk Academy has launched its new hybrid courses to help new aestheticians to complete their training while still maintaining another job, or raising a family. While the practical, hands-on portion of the training has a set schedule and must happen at the Academy, students are encouraged to complete the rest of their training at their own convenience and pace.
The new courses are available in three different skill levels: Basic, Advanced, and Master. While the Basic course covers up to a dozen medical aesthetic procedures, and the Advanced course includes several more, the Master course includes everything covered in both programs, and training that is exclusive to the Master level course.
With a high school diploma or previous relevant job experience, students may enroll in either the Basic or Master level course. Enrollment in the Advanced course requires completion of the Basic program first, or several years of experience working in the medical aesthetic industry.
In the Basic course, students will learn about the underlying physics and biology behind popular treatments, such as laser hair removal. During the practical portion of their training, they will receive hands-on experience working with proper tools, and actual clients, while supervised by a Dermysk specialist.
Each course also includes a section covering business strategies, regulatory concerns, and how to deal with troublesome clients. After receiving their certification in the Basic course, graduates will be fully prepared to begin a new career in the medical aesthetics industry.
Basic program graduates will be experienced and certified in acne treatments, laser hair or tattoo removal, dermaplaning, radiofrequency skin rejuvenation, and several other popular treatments. The full list of procedures covered in each course can be found on the Dermysk Academy website.
One recent graduate explained, “The Dermysk Academy is one of the best places to get certified. Good balance between theory and hands-on assignments.”
