March 22, 2023 - /PressAdvantage/ - Longview, Wash., March 22nd, 2023 — Express Employment Professionals of Cowlitz County is excited to announce that the local job center recently celebrated the 23rd anniversary of Lisa Straughan and was awarded the Circle of Excellence for 2022, according to Lisa Straughan, Express franchisee.

Straughan has become an invaluable addition to the local branch throughout the years with her passion and dedication to her staff. The office has thrived under Straughan’s leadership, and the team wishes her another amazing 23 years with the company.
"The staffing industry has allowed me to combine my community-minded awareness with my passion for helping people," said Straughan. “I could not imagine myself doing anything else. I go home at night knowing that my efforts today have opened the door for someone to improve their life for tomorrow. How many people are blessed enough to be able to say that?"
Straughan joined the company in 2000, where she began as the Front Office Coordinator for another branch. She rose quickly, and Straughan began her new role as the Branch Manager in just a few short years. Straughan transferred to the Longview office in 2004 as the new Branch Manager, and two years later, she became the Franchise Owner. Straughan embodies everything Express stands for as a leader and is dedicated to helping her staff and community succeed.
The Circle of Excellence program was created by Express Employment International to honor its franchisees. The program offers six possible levels of achievement; based on annual performance, participation, and compliance criteria. Achieving any level of the Circle of Excellence is a testament to the hard work and dedication of a franchise's owner and staff.
“It is truly an honor for our team to be recognized for this achievement,” said Straughan. “We’re so grateful for the support of our community and the efforts of our staff that made this award possible.”
The Longview Express Employment Professionals franchise began operation in 1995 and serves the Cowlitz County area with career hiring assistance, offering temporary help and direct hire employees in various fields, including office services, light industrial, and professional positions.
