Leading CBD brand Keoni CBD has recently made a very generous donation of five pallets worth of their premium CBD products (over 20,000 bottles of their 500mg and 750mg CBD gummies, tinctures, and salves among other items) to the HeroGrown Foundation. The said donation is valued at $1.2 million and establishes a newfound relationship between the two organizations.
HeroGrown Foundation is an organization whose mission, for more than 10 years, has been to provide cannabis as a safe alternative to risky prescription drugs. They aim to make cannabis free to veterans and first responders in need. They have, so far, distributed over $4,800,000 in cannabis products directly to veterans through their Warrior Airdrop Initiative and Bud Bottles Giveaway. In addition to this, they also provide education about the benefits of cannabis as well as work with lobbyists and state legislators to end the war on American Heroes who choose cannabis.
In a statement, Keoni has expressed their excitement over the partnership.
"At Keoni CBD, we take pride in the quality of our product and the relationships we build with our customers. We also recognize how our veterans have become overlooked, so we decided to show them support by donating to an organization whose mission is to deliver high-quality cannabis products directly to veterans. We feel that this synergistic relationship will be a cornerstone of our charitable future and hope to continue to work with HeroGrown as long as we can," shares Cody Fletcher, Controller and Outreach Director at Keoni.
Nick Martin, CEO of HeroGrown Foundation shares, "Over 30,000 veterans have died by suicide since 9/11. My dad became dependent on opioids after his Army service and credited cannabis and CBD with saving his life. In 2011, we set out to help as many veterans as possible discover cannabis as an alternative to prescription drugs. But we can't do it alone. Keoni's incredibly generous donation is one the largest in our organization's history. On behalf of all of our volunteers and members, I want to express our sincerest gratitude to Keoni for supporting our mission."
In addition to the donation, Keoni is also extending an exclusive discount code to veterans.
Just use the code Heroes22 to receive a 22% discount on your Keoni CBD purchases. This effort aims to help the brand become the preferred CBD source of veterans all over the country. According to the brand, 22 is a special number in the veterans world. The Veteran Administration statistics confirm 22 veterans a day are succumbing to suicide on American soil. That is one veteran every 65 minutes. The total number of those losing their battle grows larger with each day research and treatments are not able to be done.
