Classified as thought-provoking and truly stimulating, the books center on family dysfunction, with each over 300-pages in length.
The Open Heart Books website also lists upcoming events and gives visitors and readers of Taeuffer’s books the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the author. With ‘Pam’s Story’ and ‘Pam’s Mission’ defining the author’s background and how she dealt with her own emotions to how she hopes to help others overcome similar battles, the site conveys a strong message and reinforces self-beliefs.
Also offering creative coaching, the Open Heart books website helps visitors to understand journaling and how this helps to shed any excess baggage from prior relationships and aids in the healing process. When asked about the new Open Heart Books website and her inspiration for writing, Pamela Taeuffer said, “I grew up in a family battling alcoholism. There were so many ways I felt affected. However, I did not realize until I was much older how I had given up much of my childhood because of keeping secrets, keeping the peace under any circumstance, a severe fear of abandonment and good things not lasting. I want to reach young adults and new adults so they understand how family dysfunction can stifle creativity and brilliance, so they are not stuck like I was.”
