Franklin Wireless Corp. (NASDAQ: FKWL) a leader in wireless connectivity, today announced its partnership to bring Korea its first 5G SD-WAN solution.

Software-defined wide area networks (SD-WAN) provide organizations a cloud-based solution allowing computer networks to extend over long distances, connecting branches, offices, and remote workers. The successful integration of this 5G solution is a joint venture between Franklin Wireless and The Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) of Korea. "This solution will utilize a variety of 5G mobile devices currently sold and being designed by Franklin Wireless," noted David Lee, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "We anticipate seeing an increased level of flexibility and productivity for enterprises and organizations utilizing this solution."

The ETRI is a research and development agency established to develop and make popular new information and electronic technologies. As noted online, "ETRI is continuously committing its resources to R&D efforts that could lead to digital transformation." - Kim, Myung Joon, President of ETRI.
