Emotional Scientist Dr. Tracy Thomas Talks About Why Even Celebrities Like Cheslie Kryst, Former Miss USA, Can Be Driven to Suicide, And The Emotional Pain That Many Successful People Mask
Petaluma, United States - February 3, 2022 /PressCable/ —
Dr. Tracy Thomas, PhD, the world’s first Emotional Scientist, renowned psychologist, and Wall Street Journal best-selling author of The Commitments: A Step-by-Step Guide to Personal Transformation, describes why even a beautiful, successful celebrity like former Miss USA Cheslie Kryst can feel hopeless enough to commit suicide. Dr. Thomas’ company, called Dr. Tracy Inc., helps driven, successful people deal with their emotional pain so they can live a life of purpose and ease.

Cheslie Kryst shockingly plunged to her death on January 30 after throwing herself from her apartment building in Manhattan. The social justice attorney was crowned Miss USA in 2019 and was the New York correspondent on the TV show ‘Extra,’ where she regularly interviewed A-list celebrities and covered some of the most glamorous events in the entertainment world.
But despite her beauty, brains, and success, Kryst was in severe emotional pain. Although she spoke openly in 2019 about going to counseling, she still ended her life at the age of 30.
Dr. Thomas was deeply moved by the story of Kryst, and posits why traditional therapy failed to give her the tools she needed. “For many people, the therapeutic process has them go backwards to rehash events – whether they were a week ago, or years into past – this going backwards is potentially more injurious for them,” she says. “That’s why our training process has people connected to the here and now, and has them connected to the future. Their emotional training is for intentionality, so their emotions, conditioning, and focus are going forward into their desired intentions.”
After working with hundreds of highly-driven people, Dr. Thomas knows the emotional pain that many successful people mask – until suddenly they can’t. “When you’re privileged, you feel like you can’t have mental health struggles – you might feel guilty or like you can’t have issues,” Dr. Thomas explains. “That’s why Dr. Tracy Inc. is all about getting people of great influence the help that they need, because they are leading a transformational movement – and it’s imperative for society,” says Thomas.
Thomas hopes that Cheslie Kyrst’s life and untimely death will not be in vain. Rather, she hopes it will be a wake-up call for what type of therapy is needed at this point in time.
