Todd, United States - April 1, 2017 /PressCable/ —
Those interested in starting a business online know it is tough to succeed. Many online sources even propose that over 90 percent of businesses started online fail within the first 120 days.
According to Ramit Sethi from GrowthLab.com and any number of other recognized online business leaders, the top three reasons people struggle with starting a business are: lack of time, too many or too few ideas, and imposter syndrome.
The e-mail marketing company ConvertKit wants to help online entrepreneurs stop struggling with product ideas begin making money and building an e-mail list. They are offering what they call a “Product Creation Masterclass” beginning in early April.
“I’ve been in and out of the online marketing world for the last 8 years,” says Todd Temaat. “The only real success I had was from a site that made money through advertising revenue, so learning how to build a product and get it to market in a step-by-step fashion should be very helpful and enlightening.”
Temaat plans to take the masterclass and chronicle his efforts – successes and failures – as they happen on his website. Strengths, weaknesses and shortcomings in the recommended ConvertKit product creation process will be revealed and visitors will be invited to participate in the experiment and ask questions as it progresses.

“My hope is to remove the hype that typically surrounds internet marketing launches and campaigns and help others like me that would like to start a successful business but are struggling to get out of the gate,” Temaat continues.
Many online sources advise new business owners to follow flawed and ineffective methods to develop and sell their products. For example, the US Small Business Administration attempts to apply time-tested offline business planning and building tactics to the online business world, which simply does not work.
By following this experiment, new online business owners will be able watch in real time as a relative internet marketing newbie attempts to avoid the all-too-common pitfall of devoting hundreds of hours and countless resources into developing a website and a product that no one is interested in.
Instead of wasting valuable time and resources, Temaat hopes this experiment will enable others to launch their first product and get traction in their target market quickly and with certainty.
The experiment will be live at: https://www.toddtemaat.com/ckpr1
