Bright Eye Medical Spa Brings A Sparkle To Downtown Kingsville

BRIGHT Eye Spa & Medical Aesthetics and Dr. Abby Jakob are pleased to announce the grand opening of the medical spa in an appealing and historic building. The building is nearly a century old and was the town's first fire hall. The site is located on Main Street with lots of foot traffic. With the help of family members, the building was completely gutted and revamped. Several years after the success of EYES, Dr. Jakob recognized the need for more space to accommodate her growing interest in dry eye disease, leading to a new passion for medical aesthetics. She expanded her business into additional space next door. Thus, BRIGHT Eye Spa + Medical Aesthetics was opened in February 2023.

Dr. Jakob stresses the importance of "being warm and welcoming to all guests at BRIGHT. The goal is to provide our patients with an experience unlike any other," she says. “I enjoyed putting the design and lighting of the spa together in a way that is easy on the eyes in every sense of the word.”

Some extras that make this spa unique include hand-crafted planter boxes out front, which Dr. Jakob's mom and aunt update seasonally. Large windows inviting in plenty of natural light allow our cozy seating area, coffee bar and full stocked product display shelf to be best showcased. Inside the practice, luxury vinyl floors compliment the wooden slat wall behind the front desk. Three treatment rooms are fully equipped for patient care, with an additional Visia Skin Analysis room ready for all complimentary consultations.

After realizing a growing need to expand the services offered, Dr. Jakob hired a Medical Director and two Medical Aestheticians/Ocular Hygienists.
