Michael Malone is an award-winning stand-up comedian, writer, and film director based in Los Angeles. His blistering humor concentrates on breaking down the distinctive ways people deal with love, death, and life. He has been featured on Comedy Central’s “Bad Ass Bitches of History” and recently co-starred in the second season of Showtime’s hit drama series, “I’m Dying Up Here.” Michael has also been seen on “Punchlines: on FOX TV, “Laughs” on Fusion, WGN, NBC, The CW, XM Radio, and is a regular on the syndicated radio show, “Bob and Tom.”
In 2012, Michael won the Seattle International Comedy Competition. From there, he was recognized as the “HOT Comic to Watch” in 2013. In 2014, he was also voted as one of the “Top 5 Comedy Performers” in the United States college market. Just a few years ago, Michael launched his second comedy album through Uproar Records in 2015 entitled, “Thirty-One.” The album was featured for several weeks on the New and Noteworthy section of iTunes. It also becomes a top 10 best-selling album on the platform as well.
According to Angela Frissore from AXS Magazine commenting about Malone’s “Thirty-One” album, “Malone is an engaging as perfectly-choreographed ballet.”
Malone also starred as the lead in the horror/comedy cult classic film “Chopping Block” and more recently the dramedy, “Sushi Burrito.” In 2016, Michael went abroad along with the Armed Forces Entertainment Tour and performed for the military in eleven different nations.
Today, he lives in Los Angeles, California and publishes a monthly column for “Face the Current” Magazine. He is also the maker behind the very one-of-a-kind podcast, “Punched Up,” Funny or Die’s animated series, “The Good Doctor”, the NSFW nature show on the YouTube Channel of Laugh Factory titled “Mother F*cking Nature.”.
