Award-Winning Director Yogesh Vats Makes Bollywood Debut With An Exceptional Genre

Director Yogesh Vats, a young filmmaker qualified from the State Institute of Film and Television (SIFTV) Rohtak is the man behind the critically acclaimed short film ‘Barefeet Impressions’. After his short film left imprints on the screens and massive audiences of International Film Festivals, Yogesh Vats is going to make his Bollywood debut with his upcoming film The Winds (Hawayein), produced by Dr.Jogender Singh under the banner of Ok Movies.
The film casts Bhavesh Kumar, a young actor who has shot in extreme climates to do justice to the script and the ethos of the film. Bhavesh is accompanied by Easter Noronha along with Parikshit Sahni, Kiran Kumar, Sheeba Akashdeep with their outstanding performances. With the contribution of the immensely talented crew from the film institute, Vats has tried to level up the cinema with an exceptional genre.
The film speaks about the life of a young boy Aditya, who decides to renounce all his possessions and hitchhike across India. During his journey, he meets several people who help him reevaluate his relationship with his parents and his dream of becoming a filmmaker. When life makes no sense to him, the self-exploration starts.
Speaking about the inspiration for the creation of the masterpiece movie, Director Yogesh Vats said,” When you get those rare moments of clarity, those flashes when the universe makes sense, you try desperately to hold on to them. They are the lifeboats for the darker times, when the vastness of it all, the incomprehensible nature of life is completely elusive. It is then that you realise that the answers to your questions have been within you all this while.”
The story has a wonderful theme and is expected to be appreciated well by audiences around the world. Shot over a span of two years in sixty locations across India, Hawayein showcases vivid scenes from the extreme climates of Himalayas with its mountain peaks, massive glaciers to the splendid monasteries, blue lakes, ethereal rivers and landscapes and the cultural diversity of North India through to the deep beaches of South India. The Winds (Hawayein) is all set to take everyone to the realization of their highest truth.
