FCS Learn Online, an AutoCAD training website, launched an updated version of its popular AutoCAD beginner’s course. More information can be found at https://fcslearnonline.com.
Currently the most popular computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software, AutoCAD is used extensively by professionals in a wide range of industries, from architecture to automotive engineering. However, many beginners struggle to grasp the functionality of the platform, making an AutoCAD introductory course essential.
FCS Learn Online aims to help beginner AutoCAD users master the basics of the software and complete their first drawings by offering high-quality online video tutorials.
The introductory course features more than 15 lessons, taking the student from the first basic commands to producing a complete drawing and moving on to more advanced functionalities.
The course also includes downloadable resource files to complement the video course, as well as full support.
Among the skills covered in the course are learning to use drawing commands, basic drawing techniques, adding texts and dimensions, using modification tools, printing techniques and many others.
The course is designed and taught by Mike Freeman, an expert draughtsman and CAD designer with over 23 years of experience working in a variety of industries.
Mike said: “Over the course of my career I’ve trained countless people in the use of these tools and as most of this training was geared towards getting staff members up and running with this software as quickly as possible, I developed a method that gets my students actually creating drawings straight away. We then gradually add more advanced techniques as we go.”
