PALM BEACH SHORES, Fla., March 2, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- The trilogy is a life-story of Maria Kurbatov whose faith miraculously preserved her life during tortures, ten years of illegal imprisonment in soviet GULAG – a force labor camp for political prisoners, and years of KGB persecution in civilian life. Maria's spirituality and courage liberated her and many other innocent people after her visit to Brezhnev in 1962.

Countess Maria secretly recorded the events of her life in diaries. In 1988 she requested her daughter-in-law Angelic Tarasio who immigrated to the USA, to write and publish her story. The trilogy works, as an alarm for those people who would like to adopt the utopic demonic structure of socialism with its evil ideas of "economic equality" through abolition of private properties.
Author Angelic Tarasio was born in the USSR. Angelic's parents were military officers and atheists. Angelic considers her friendship with Mother Maria, as blessing from Above. Mother Maria brought Spirituality and Compassion in Angelic's life.
Author Angelic Tarasio looks forward to expanding her great relationships with readers, journalists, churches, bookstores, clubs, colleges, universities and movie producers.
Book I: "Mother Maria" introduces readers to a noble family in Eastern Poland. World War II destroyed Maria's peaceful life. She got into concentration camp in Nazi Germany. The interference of Divinity and true love rescued Maria.
Book II: "Home-Coming" brings readers to post-war unlawful annexation of Eastern European territories by USSR. In 1946, Maria and Alexander Kurbatov arrived to rescue Maria's family. Through criminal actions of NKVD/KGB, readers discover cruelty of communist regime, hardships of GULAG and exile to Siberia.
Book III: "Bridge to the Sky" gives readers the experience of illegal continual persecution of Maria and her 3 children by KGB. Maria's faith and courage supported the woman. Maria secretly reached the Kremlin and met Leonid Brezhnev. She became victorious.
