The program is administered by masters-level interns and offers a HIPAA-compliant tele-mental health program that combines in-person and online counseling.
Jenna DeRosa, a current Northwestern University counseling intern, joined the Road to Growth team back in April of 2018. Jenna brings with her, experience working in multiple group homes both for teens and veterans. These opportunities have provided her the knowledge and skills to work with trauma, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, bipolar, eating disorders, antisocial disorder and more. She has worked with people from all walks of life from the ages of 14-80. Jenna states, “I hope to work with a variety of ages, disorders and stressors to gain and build on the foundation that my prior work experience and coursework has taught me.”
Taylor Roach, a current Regis University counseling intern, joined the Road to Growth team this month. Through her work with crisis hotlines, as well as her counseling experience in the counseling clinic at Regis, Taylor has provided people the direction, empathy, and support needed to navigate crises. Her experience includes trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties. She has helped families navigate parenting issues, relational disagreements, difficult life circumstances, transitions, and more. Taylor states, “As a student of marriage and family therapy, it is my firm belief that without a working marriage, a working family is difficult to maintain. And further, without a functioning family, personal life circumstances also become increasingly more difficult to handle.”
The clinic is a registered training and supervision center for graduate interns from Northwestern University and Regis University. All graduate-level counselors are selected and supervised by Clinical Director Stephanie Camins to ensure superlative service quality.
According to a spokesperson for the Arvada, CO mental health therapy center, “Vibrant mental health and wellness are at the heart of all of our therapy programs. Affordability is a key factor that inhibits access to counseling, and we are happy to offer cost-effective mental health services to all.”
Road to Growth Counseling is a mental health and wellness facility founded by Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Director Stephanie Camins. The facility provides professional counseling services to the cities of Denver, Boulder, Westminster, Lafayette, Longmont, Thornton, Broomfield, and other communities in the region.
