The first edition was of the Adventure Mate was a runaway success and the company is pleased to introduce its second generation model boasting several breakthrough improvements. Traveling light allows campers to be more nimble and focus on the adventure ahead and with the Adventure Mate, a powerful tool can now be added to a gear set to ensure nothing stands in the way.
“We began designing this tool because we knew from our own experience that today's on-the-go explorers need heavy-duty hardware that does the job of several tools all in one, whilst also saving them space and weight in their gear bag,” says co-founder Conrad Sayer on the inspiration behind the project.
The Adventure Mate V2 is a hatchet, saw, shovel, hammer, and tent peg hook. It all fits in a compact holster and is manufactured locally in the United States. This second-generation Adventure Mate tool boasts a number of breakthrough features to make it more a more solid and durable tool overall.
The AM-V2 utilizes a patented 2-stage CAM locking mechanism which addresses the complicated issue of a secure connection between the handle and tool. This two-stage lock creates a sturdy, tight fit with a quick-release lever to unlock. It includes a sturdier, replaceable saw blade, a sharpened shovel-head, a re-imagined axe head, and includes a carbon-fiber reinforced nylon handle. All these upgrades make the Adventure Mate V2 the world’s most powerful and versatile camping tool on the market.
The company is also on a mission to make sure their business does no harm to the environment and is challenging other companies to do the same. Adventure Mate uses 100% recycled packaging and offsets 1 ton of CO2 for every tool sold. By purchasing carbon offset credits from companies that sequester carbon dioxide through reforestation, Adventure Mate is a carbon negative company.
