THE RANCHER AND THE SHEPHERDESS book required first reading each of Debra Holland’s books, but Caroline was already a fan of Debra’s writing and had read most of the books. A team of fourteen people are writing for Montana Sky Kindle World series. Although not necessary, many of the project’s authors had their characters interact with one another. This goes to show that rather than working against one another as competitors, these authors worked together to create a cohesive group of books..
This book in Debra Holland’s Montana Sky Kindle World almost didn’t see the light of day because Caroline had other projects to complete before she began THE RANCHER AND THE SHEPHERDESS. By juggling manuscripts,she was able to allot enough time. Her recent book is closely linked to her earlier Montana Sky Kindle World, AMANDA’S RANCHER, but each book stands alone.
