She also serves as an Assistant Professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Her primary research interests are in the application of cardiac genetics with cardiac imaging.

Marmur, she conducted extensive research, eventually culminating in her thesis on this significant topic.

After completing her MD/Ph.D. program, she embarked on her medical residency at Mt. Sinai St. Lukes's. Finally, she pursued a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Yale University, where she had the privilege of training under the esteemed Dr. Arya Mani, the director of the Yale Medicine Cardiovascular Genetics Program.

An expert in her field, the doctor is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart, as well as some parts of the circulatory system.
